Abstract

This research was motivated by changes in the education curriculum in Indonesia. Every change always has an accompanying impact, both directly and indirectly. One of the impacts of curriculum changes is adjustments in terms of human resources and supporting facilities. The aim of this research is to determine the obstacles and strategies that can be implemented in developing differentiated learning teaching modules for the Merdeka curriculum for elementary school teachers in Unter Iwes District, Sumbawa Regency. This research is a type of qualitative research with SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Data collection was carried out by observation, documentation and interviews. The sample for this study consisted of elementary school teachers (10 people), school principals (2) people, and school supervisors (1) person. The research results show that there are several obstacles in preparing teaching modules for elementary school teachers in Unter Iwes District, including; 1) Obstacles in analyzing student needs, 2) Obstacles in integrating Pancasila student profiles into learning content, 3) Obstacles in determining learning objectives and flow, 4) There are still teachers who have not prepared teaching modules in a comprehensive manner, 5) Teachers have not received preparation training teaching module. The conclusions from this research are; To meet students' learning needs, teachers can use various forms of formative assessment, talk to previous teachers, or read student report cards from previous classes. To overcome obstacles in integrating Pancasila student profiles into learning content, teachers can develop internal teaching materials, collaborate with other teachers, or utilize local arts and culture. Teachers can also collaborate with teachers who have received training, or can take online training classes independently.
