METODE PENDEKATAN “OBY” DALAM MEMBUAT LAWAS SUMBAWA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTORIK ANAK (STUDI DI SDN 2 LANGAM)

Abstract

This study aims to describe the "OBY" method approach in the teaching and
learning process of old Sumbawa (Study at SDN 2 Langam) and to analyze the
"OBY" method in making Sumbawa old school affect the improvement of
children's motor skills (Study at SDN 2 Langam). The "OBY" method is a method
created by a Sumbawa artist named Oby Pamungkas and the aim is to increase
the interest of the younger generation in Sumbawa culture, one of which is
making old Sumbawa. With an easy and understandable method, it is easier for
the younger generation to make old Sumbawa. The method used in this research
is mixed methods, this research was conducted using two methods, namely
qualitative methods and quantitative methods. From the results of qualitative
research, it was found that the "OBY" method was more attractive to students in
making Sumbawa oldies than using the previous method, because students were
faster in making Sumbawa oldies. From the results of quantitative research using
the normality test and homogeneity test, it can produce a significance value of 0.000. If the significance value is ≤ 0.05, then it can be said that there is a
difference between the experimental class and the control class. Based on the
test results, it showed that the mean value showed the post-test value of the
experimental class ≥ the post-test control class (83.76 ≥ 73.24), meaning that the
use of the "OBY" method in making Sumbawa old school was more effective than
the previous method for improving children's motor skills. So it can be said that
H0 is rejected, meaning that the independent variable affects the dependent
variable.
