Abstract

The Sumbawa Resort Police is a government organization that performs public services with the
aim of solving various problems and threats that exist in the local community. Complaints,
reporting and servicing various cases that occur in the surrounding environment are a form of
responsibility that must be carried out and resolved properly by the Sumbawa Resort Police,
this is because the Sumbawa Resort Police is a public organization that serves the community.
The service in question regarding the service of making a quality Police Record Certificate
(SKCK) can be obtained either from the Intelligence Unit of Sumbawa Resort Police. To overcome deficiencies within the scope of the Sumbawa Reor police, a public service Intelli-
gence Unit was formed regarding the making of Police Record Certificates (SKCK). This study
uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques in this study were by
means of interviews, observation, and documentation. As for this study, data analysis was car-
ried out using the triagulation technique. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the
implementation of the services of the Sumbawa Resort Police carried out by the Intelligence
Unit at the Sumbawa Police are of good quality and efficient so that they must be able to carry
out their duties as well as possible and provide comfort and satisfaction for the people in need.
The National Police must provide effective services that produce excellent service to the com-
munity so that it can be said that their services have been productive. So that in an effort to
achieve service quality it is appropriate for the police to improve the quality of their services in
accordance with the regulations regarding improving the quality of government apparatus services to the community. Suggestions in this study are to complete facilities and infrastructure
such as adding service facility units, having additional SKCK service personnel and developing online service applications for making SKCK.
