IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM PENINGKATAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL, KECERDASAN SPIRITUAL DAN KECERDASAN INTELEKTUAL PADA SISWA SMPN 5 MOYO HILIR

This study aims to determine the implementation of character education in improving emotional intelligence, spiritual intelligence and intellectual intelligence in SMPN 5 Moyo Hilir students. This research uses a quantitative approach with a discriptive method. The population in this study was all students of SMPN 5 Moyo Hilir with a total of 126 students with a sample of 95 students using the solvin technique. This research uses analytical methods, namely descriptive statistiks, instrument tests, and multiple linearrregressionn analysiss. Theeresultssoff theestudyybaseddonn statistikall dataaanalysiss of indocators-indicators of the variabels in this study are valid and reabel. Character education has a significant effect on emotional intelligence. This is evidenced by the statistikal results of the t test for emotional intelligence variabels obtained a calculated t value of 3.432 and t tabel 2.048 with a significant level of 0.002 because t count> t tabel (3.432>2.048) significance is smaller than 0.05 (0.002<0.05). Thus, the results of the study found that character education had a significant effect on emotional intelligence in SMPN 5 Moyo Hilir students. While the spiritual intelligence variabel is stated that character education has an effect on increasing spiritual intelligence in SMPN 5 Moyo Hilir students. This is evidenced by the statistikal results of the t test for the spiritual intelligence variabel obtained a calculated t value of 3.142 and t tabel 2.048 with a significant level of 0.015, because t count > t tabel (3.142>2.048) is significantly smaller 0.05 (0.015<0.05), thus the results of the study found that character education has a significant effect on spiritual intelligence in SMPN 5 Moyo Hilir students. Likewise, the intellectual intelligence variabel is stated that, character education affects the increase in intellectual intelligence in SMPN 5 Moyo Hilir students. This is evidenced by the statistikal results of the t test for the intellectual intelligence variabel obtained a calculated t value of 3.023 and t tabel 2.048 with a significance level of 0.005, because t count> t tabel (3.023>2.048) significance is smaller than 0.05 (0.005<0.05), thus the results of the study found that educators and character have a significant effect on intellectual intelligence in SMPN 5 Moyo Hilir students.
