Abstract

Since the implementation of the Minimum Competency Assessment policy and the Implementation of Merdeka Curriculum starting in the 2023/2024 academic year in Empang District, elementary school teachers have had obstacles in improving the quality of learning. This is possible due to the lack of optimal management of curriculum management and the low commitment of educators. Therefore, in this study, researchers conducted action interventions in the form of mentoring and mentoring to renew curriculum management management and coaching to strengthen educators' commitment. This study aims to analyze the effect of renewing curriculum management and strengthening educators' commitment to learning quality. The research was conducted in primary schools in Empang Sub-district during the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research is inferential quantitative. Data on the value of curriculum management reform results and learning quality assessment were collected using observation techniques. The questionnaire was used to measure the level of educator commitment. The research subjects were 19 fourth grade teachers from elementary schools in Empang sub-district. The assessment results showed that after the mentoring and assistance, curriculum management (variable X1) had a good score. Educator commitment (variable X2) is also good. Similarly, the quality of learning (variable Y) is also good. There are three hypotheses formulated. The hypotheses will be tested using regression analysis with F-test and T-test methods. F-test to analyze the impact of both variables (X1 and X2) on Y. T-test is used to test the effect of each variable X separately. The final conclusion of this study is that the renewal of curriculum management management and increased educator commitment have a significant influence or impact on the quality of learning.
