THE INFLUENCE OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE ON THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES OF X RESTAURANT IN SUMBAWA DISTRICT

This study aims to determine the effect of emotional intelligence on employee performance at x restaurants. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive and causal research types, the population in this study is all employees at idol restaurants. Sampling in this study uses nonprobability sampling techniques with the type of sampling, namely saturated sampling or census sampling. And this study uses research instruments in the form of two scales, namely the emotional intelligence scale and the employee performance scale. The results of this study show that emotional intelligence affects employee performance with a value (Sig.) of 0.014 (< 0.05) so that it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected which indicates that "there is an influence of emotional intelligence on the performance of employees of x Restaurant in Sumbawa Regency".
