Abstract

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self-efficacy on leadership in members (X) in Sumbawa. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive research type. The sampling technique is systematic random sampling of 40 samples. The research instrument consisted of two scales, namely the self-efficacy scale and the leadership scale. The results of the research conducted show that self-efficacy influences the leadership of the Daily Governing Body (BPH) of members of the Organization (X) in Sumbawa. It is known from the significance value of P = 0.001 <0.05 and R-square of 0.368 meaning that people with high self-efficacy have better leadership, and vice versa, people with low self-efficacy have weaker leadership. the magnitude of the correlation value (R) is equal to 0.607 and it is explained that the percentage influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable is called the coefficient of determination which is the result of squaring (R) of the output also obtaining a coefficient of determination (R square) of 0.368 which implies that the influence of the independent variable (self efficacy) on the related variable (leadership) is 36.8%.
