LEARNING METHOD OF SELENDANG DEDARA SAMAWA CREATION DANCE FOR DEAF STUDENTS OF SLB NEGERI 1 SUMBAWA
Abstract
This study aims to provide a Learning Method for the Dedara Samawa Selendang Creation Dance for deaf students at SLB Negeri 1 Sumbawa. The research method used is a qualitative research method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection stage in this study used the literature study stage, the field study stage, the observation stage, the interview stage, and the documentation stage. This research involved deaf students at SLB Negeri 1 Sumbawa, as the main object of this research. Students involved in research activities consisted of Afifa, Nelly Aprilianti, Gita Lestari, Andita Qurrayuni, and Meliza Adekayanti. Based on the results of the research, it can be found that effective dance practice learning methods for deaf students are the lecture method, demonstration method, drill method, priest method and SAS method. In the ongoing research process, the five learning methods can be proven by benchmarking the results of the Dedara Samawa Selendang Creation Dance learning video. The existence of this research can motivate deaf students who still have aspirations and think creatively, innovatively, and can express themselves well like other normal children. In learning the art of dance, it can increase the intelligence of children, especially those with special needs so that they can be expressive and creative in living life and also ideals.
