Abstract

The process of managing reporting and complaint administration at SMAN 02 Pekat
experienced problems related to data recording and student complaints where data
collection was still done manually and there was no information system that facilitated
data management. There are several other problems that are of concern, namely the
permission made by the parents of the students did not reach the picket teacher or
was not accepted by the school because of a lost permit, or miss communication
between parents and picket officers in processing student permits. In addition, he was
worried about making a fake student absence certificate which he used as an excuse
for skipping school. Based on these problems, the researchers aim to develop a valid,
practical, and effective web-based student reporting and complaint information
system. The research method used is development with the ADDIE model which
consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The
results of the study obtained an analysis of the validity of the information system 95%,
the validity of operational experts 97%, 86% practicality analysis, and 93%
effectiveness analysis. In general, it can be concluded that the licensing information
system and student complaints are very valid, practical, and effective to implement.
