PENINGKATAN PENGELOLAAN PROGRAM BEASISWA MISKIN BERPRESTASI PADA BADAN RISET DAN INOVASI DAERAH PROVINSI NUSA TENGGARA BARAT

Abstract

In order to improve the quality of education in West Nusa Tenggara, one of the leading programs implemented is the Beasiswa Miskin Berprestasi (BMB) program, which provides assistance and access to education to people who want to continue their education to the University. This scholarship is given on a full pounded basis, starting from the beginning of the lectures until the completion of education. This research aims to determine the planning of program management and benefits for the community and universities as well as improving the academic achievement of scholarship students.This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. The data type and source are derived from purposively selected informant. Data collection methods and techniques are used through interview, documentation, and observation techniques. The methods and techniques of data analysis used are data collection, data reduction, systematic presentation of data, then processing, interpreting, and then interpreting these data. The results of data analysis are presented informally (narratively).The results obtained in this study are that, the implementation of the management of the Beasiswa Miskin Berprestasi (BMB) program through Badan Riset dan Inovasi Daerah NTB has been in accordance with the rules and guidelines for the implementation of the existing program and there is

also an increase in the implementation of program management at several stages of implementation, including an increase in the amount of budget, online-based socialization with the number of followers, as well as an increase in academic achievement as seen from the increase in student IP scores BMB awardee.Planning for the Implementation of the scholarship program must be more mature because there has been a delay in the time for disbursement of BMB funds, meaning that the implementation of the existing planning has not fully proceeded according to the planning that has been made. In addition, BMB funds should also be allocated to fully finance college financing needs and no longer charge universities about payments that are considered not covered by BMB. The priority of improving academic achievement must be a real target for the BMB program if there are awardees who have decreased achievement.
