Abstract

As part of online learning during the Covid-19 period, the quality of learning is not expected to decrease but will continue to increase. When the quality of learning decreases, this can affect the quality of the knowledge and experience of learning outcomes. This becomes a benchmark, if the type of learning carried out is not achieved and does not provide changes in a better direction, the quality and learning success of the students also decrease. The purpose of the research is to find out the application of educational videos in learning activities, analyze the hypothesis of thematic educational videos on students' interests, and evaluate the effectiveness of the effect of thematic educational videos on students' interests in Labuhan Sumbawa Primary School . Research methodology in this study in its implementation using the multiple linear regression method and using subtests in the data processing. The strategy for determining the video duration variable on student interest in learning, the duration variable (X1), negatively affects student interest in learning, but not significantly. This can be seen from the significant value of the duration variable (X1) which is 0.906. This value is greater than 0.05 (limit of significance) The effect of the video quality variable on student interest in learning The quality variable (X2) has a positive effect on student interest in

learning, but is not significant. This can be evidenced by the significant value of the video quality variable (X2) being less than 0.05, which is equal to 0.140. The influence of content variables on students' interest in learning and the content variable (X2) has a positive effect on students' interest in learning and the effect is significant. This is indicated by the content variable's significance value of 0.000 or less than 0.05. In order to suggest that it will be achieved with technological advances, it is necessary that students are introduced to learning through video digitization at an early age. The research methodology in this study used multiple linear regression methods in its implementation and used partial tests in data processing. The strategy for determining the video duration variable on student interest in learning, the duration variable (X1), negatively affects student interest in learning, but not significantly. This can be seen from the significant value of the duration variable (X1) which is 0.906.
