Abstract

  1. Olat Maras Technology (PT.OMT) is a Group Company (Holding Company) engaged in various business fields owned by the University of Technology Sumbawa (UTS) as a Campus Owned Enterprise (BUMK). When a company faces pressure from shareholders to be able to increase profit achievement, while competition in product and service categories is getting tougher, it is necessary to develop a new strategy. The purpose of this research is to analyze internal and external environmental factors that affect the performance of OMT Press printing. Analyzing alternative strategies that can be implemented for the development of OMT Press printing and determining priority strategies that will be applied to OMT Press printing. The research method used is descriptive qualitative which is quantified by considering the readiness of the company owner to analyze the condition of the company while the data collection method uses internal and external environmental analysis and SWOT analysis which is used to formulate alternative strategies that will be used by the company. The QSPM matrix is used to determine the best alternative strategy for the company which was previously produced by SWOT analysis. with the main strength that has the most influence on OMT Press is the variety of products offered, the main weakness factor is the making of company plans that have not been directed, the main opportunity factor is the lifestyle of people who increasingly want trends, while the main threat factor is rising prices of basic commodities and fuel . The I-E matrix shows that the omt press position is in cell IV position, namely the strategy used in cell IV is the grow and build strategy. The results of the QSPM matrix analysis produce two strategies that will be used, namely: (1) expanding cooperation with distributors/dealers (ST2) and (2) optimizing the location of production technology used to deal with other competitors.
