OPTIMALISASI LAYANAN KEPENDUDUKAN DAN PENCATATAN SIPIL KABUPATEN SUMBAWA BARAT DI TAHUN 2022

Abstract

Public service is understood as a form of mandatory basic service carried out by the
government to the community. So that the government needs to evaluate and
develop services on a regular and continuous basis in order to develop the quality of
public services provided by local governments to fulfill the needs of population
administration and civil registration of the community. The objectives of this research
are: 1). To analyze the implementation of population service and civil registration
services in West Sumbawa Regency; and 2) To formulate a strategy in optimizing the
administration of population and civil registration services in West Sumbawa Regency
as a form of regional innovation. This research is a descriptive study with a Mixed
Method Research (MMR) approach. The number of samples used in this study was
267 which was determined using Isaac and Michael's determination and purposed
sampling technique. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics. The
results of this study indicate that the implementation of Dukcapil service affairs in
West Sumbawa Regency is carried out in accordance with the procedures of
applicable laws and regulations, where in its implementation there are several
elements that are still considered to need improvement, including completion time,
implementing competence, handling complaints, suggestions and input. as well as
facilities and infrastructure. The strategy in optimizing the implementation of
population and civil registration services in West Sumbawa Regency as a form of regional innovation in the form of developing an integrated online system to improve
the effectiveness and efficiency of the performance of population and civil registration
services at the Dukcapil Service of West Sumbawa Regency.
