STRATEGI PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER PEDULI LINGKUNGAN PADA SISWA SDIT DI KABUPATEN LOMBOK TIMUR BERDASARKAN PERDA KABUPATEN LOMBOK TIMUR NOMOR 2 TAHUN 2021 TENTANG PEMBATASAN TIMBULAN SAMPAH PLASTIK

Abstract

The strategy of forming environmental care characters in school students is an important issue that
needs to be considered in the educational process. Efforts that can be made for the formation of
environmental care characters in students can be pursued through environmental care character
education from an early age. The East Lombok Regency Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2021
concerning the limitation of the generation of plastic waste is an important tool for the local government in
overcoming environmental problems related to the generation of plastic waste and it is hoped that
schools can apply them in their environment. This study seeks to find out the articles in the Regional
Regulation that can be a strategy for building environmental care character by SDIT in East Lombok
Regency. This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Collecting data using
observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects were 5 SDITs in East Lombok
Regency spread over 5 sub-districts. Analysis of the data using the theory of Miles and Huberman. The
results show that the formation of environmental care characters in SDIT students in East Lombok district
use several strategies, namely by indirect learning in teaching and learning strategies, through school
culture and by strengthening the role of parents at home. This study finds that the articles in this regional
regulation can be an innovation for schools in making strategies in shaping the character of
environmental care in their students.
