MANAJEMEN PENGELOLAAN HASIL HUTAN BUKAN KAYU (HHBK) MADU PADA KELOMPOK TANI MADU ALAM SO LOMPA WILAYAH BALAI KPH TAMBORA

Abstract

Utilization of NTFPs is intended to reduce dependence on timber forest products, increase
forest community income from NTFPs and raise public awareness of the conservation of forest area
ecosystems through sustainable management of NTFPs. as well as obstacles to the management of
NTFPs for Honey at the Tambora KPH Hall
This study uses a qualitative research approach, with several data collection techniques in the form of
interviews, observations and literature studies. Data analysis using SWOT analysis. The subjects of
this study were the Tambora Forest Management Unit Center (BKPH), Village Government Elements,
Head of the Mekarsari Bumdes, Farmer Group Assistance Foreman and So Lompa Farmer Group
Head.
The results of the study are that 1). Management of non-timber forest product (NTFP)
Honey in the Tambora KPH Balai area is carried out through the Forestry Partnership program in
accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry No.
83/Menlhk/setjen/kum.1/10/2016 concerning social forestry with the Community Empowerment
scheme in accordance with the provisions of the Minister of Forestry No. P.39/Menhut-II/2013
concerning Community Empowerment. Based on the SWOT analysis, it is known that the supporting
factors for the management of NTFPs are the establishment of a partnership pattern between the FMU
and the community by providing protection and recognition to the community who manages NTFPs so
that the community's economy increases and the FMU is assisted in maintaining forest sustainability,
while the inhibiting factor is the dynamics of changes in management policies. forest, product value
competitiveness, as well as the commitment of the Regional Government in building a partnership
program that is more towards agriculture, and the existence of opposing parties in the management of
NTFPs.
Based on the results of the analysis of various alternative strategies for improving
performance in the implementation of the partnership program in Piong Village, it is directed at
optimizing the partnership program itself to manage and increase the types of potential resources
available in order to get maximum results. By strengthening institutions and strengthening community
capacity in forestry partnership programs through training and provision of skills as well as increasing
cooperation with other parties for the development of NTFPs.
