MODEL PEMBELAJARAN DENGAN PENDEKATAN TEKNOLOGI TEPAT GUNA PADA JURUSAN REKAYASA PERANGKAT LUNAK

This study aims to increase the learning motivation and competence of students. With
a learning model oriented to appropriate technology, students are asked to be more
concerned and play an active role in the social issues that occur in society, are able
to evaluate, think more creatively, and create.( Project based learning PJBL) that has
been carried out so far (factual model) is combined with an appropriate technology
approach whose theme is related to existing environmental issues and is of interest,
resulting in a new learning model (conceptual model). The type of research used is
development research with a mix method (combined method). There are three stages
in this research, namely the preliminary stage, the stage of model development and
validation, and the evaluation stage (trial). The class chosen was class XI majoring in
software engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Taliwang. The subjects in this study were
productive teachers majoring in Software Engineering and a small group of 6 (six)
people who were randomly selected. The instruments in this study were
questionnaires and interviews with productive teachers and 2 (two) expert validators,
and tests were carried out on selected students (pretest and posttest). The
effectiveness test of the model was carried out with Non-Parametric Statistical
Analysis, Wilcoxon Test and Gain Score. The results of the posttest showed that 83%
of students experienced an increase in competence compared to the pretest which
were only 33%. The results of the gain index show a value of 0.75 (High-g) while the
non-parametric statistical test with the Wilcoxon test and rank test Z value of -2.201
with a significance of 0.028 (p<0.05) which means the test is accepted and effective.
