Watershed (DAS) is a land area which is one
unity with the river and its tributaries, which functions to accommodate,
storing and channeling water from rainfall to lakes or the sea
naturally. Moyo Watershed is one of the watersheds designated as DAS
National Priority. The purpose of this research is to calculate and analyze
land cover changes in the Moyo watershed area using remote sensing techniques
in two series of Landsat 8 satellite images, namely in 2013 and 2021. Analysis
carried out using the guided classification method using QGIS software
and Arcgis. This method is very effective and efficient and very easy for the participants
stakeholders to get information quickly and precisely on
large areas without having to conduct field surveys every time. From research
This information was obtained that in the time span from 2013 to
In 2021, there will be a reduction in the area of secondary dryland forest land cover
quite significant. In 2013 the area of secondary dryland forest was 30672.31
Ha (38.81%), but in 2021 the area will be 22306.05 Ha (28.22%),
decreased by 8366.26 ha (more than 10% of the total area of the Moyo watershed). On the other hand broad
rice fields in 2013 covering an area of 15116.28 Ha (19.13%), in 2021 it will become
15878.49 Ha (20.09%). Field area in 2013 was 15479.12 ha (19.58%),
to 20385.48 ha (25.79%) in 2021, an increase of 4906.36 ha.
