Abstract

Stunting is known in children suffering from chronic nutritional problems. This condition is influenced by many factors, including the social and economic conditions of parents, nutritional intake during pregnancy, the baby's medical history, poor nutrition or malnutrition experienced by the baby, and parenting styles that are not in accordance with the child's growth and development, especially in the period of 1,000 HPK. Unter Iwes sub-district is one of the sub-districts with a high stunting rate caused by several factors. Therefore, support is needed to overcome the problem of stunting and empower women. The purpose of this study is to reveal the implementation of collaborative governance in stunting handling programs and explain the role of TPK in reducing stunting rates. To examine these problems, the theory used in this study is Collaborative Governance proposed by Ansell and Gash (2007). This theory focuses on the collaborative process carried out by TPK as an intermediary and collaborator of the government. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that first, the implementation of several activities, namely the Supplementary Feeding (PMT) program, immunization and vitamin administration, nutrition and weight monitoring is expected to increase awareness and commitment from the community, especially in TPK together with community elements to prevent stunting. In addition, the implementation of collaborative governance in the stunting reduction program in Unter Iwes District has been carried out in a convergence manner, where convergence in the stunting reduction program between relevant stakeholders has been carried out in an organized manner. By involving several stakeholders ranging from the private sector, the community, academics, to community organizations. Second, the role of TPK in the collaborative process of stunting management programs in Unter Iwes District has two roles, namely as facilitators and extension workers in the program, and as assistance in stunting management involving the government, private sector from PT. AMNT, puskesmas, Dinas Kesehatan and related agencies are intertwined in a convergent manner. Where interventions are carried out in a coordinated, integrated, and joint manner targeting priority target groups living in Unter Iwes District to prevent stunting.
