ANALISIS PERSEPSI DUNIA USAHA DAN DUNIA INDUSTRI (DUDI) TERHADAP SOFT SKILL ALUMNI SMK ISLAM SUMBAWA BESAR

Abstract

Vocational High Schools (SMK) are required by the government to be able to reduce unemployment, which is why the learning model at vocational schools is more about education that is oriented towards a particular skill according to the choice of the students. One of the things that is really needed when facing the world of work is adequate soft skills to make it easier for alumni to face the world of work. At the Sumbawa Islamic Vocational School, learning activities focus on improving students' soft skills, and this has a significant impact on alumni's absorption in the world of work. In this research, the title is Analysis of Perceptions of the Business and Industrial World (DUDI) on the Soft Skills of Sumbawa Besar Islamic Vocational School Alumni. The aim of this research is to determine the perception of the business world, especially pharmacies as graduate users, regarding the soft skills possessed by alumni of Sumbawa Besar Islamic Vocational School. Apart from that, the perception of alumni is also very important to know the extent to which the training provided meets their needs in the world of work. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. Data collection tools use documentation, interviews and observation. Based on the research results, it is known that the soft skills possessed by Sumbawa Besar Islamic Vocational School alumni have a very positive impact on the perception and assessment of pharmacies as users regarding the coaching carried out at school, besides that, alumni also really feel helped by instilling values or strengthening the soft skills they have acquired at school.
