PENGARUH INSTALASI JARINGAN WLAN UNTUK MENUNJANG PEMBELAJARAN DAN KINERJA GURU (STUDI KASUS DI SMKN 1 PLAMPANG)

The researchers believe that the installation of WLAN networks, besides providing fast access to information via the internet and easier file access within the school environment, can also support teaching and learning activities as well as teacher performance. Based on the explanation above, the aim of this research is to determine the Influence of WLAN Network Installation to Support Learning and Teacher Performance (A Case Study at SMKN 1 Plampang). The method used in this research is quantitative through a survey method. The population for this research comprises all students and teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Plampang. The sample used in this study consists of 30 respondents from teachers and students at SMKN 1 Plampang. The data collection technique in this research involves using a questionnaire as an instrument. Subsequently, the data is analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, descriptive tests, normality tests, and non-parametric hypothesis testing using Mann-Whitney. The research findings indicate that: 1) The influence of WLAN network installation on learning activities - the normality test using Shapiro-Wilk resulted in a value of 0.018 < 0.05, indicating non-normally distributed data. Further, a non-parametric test using Mann-Whitney obtained a result of asymp. Sig (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, meaning WLAN network installation significantly affects learning activities; 2) The influence of WLAN network installation on teacher performance - the normality test using Shapiro-Wilk resulted in a value of 0.026 < 0.05, indicating non-normally distributed data. Further, a non-parametric test using Mann-Whitney obtained a result of asymp. Sig (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, meaning WLAN network installation significantly affects teacher performance.
