STRATEGI PERBAIKAN FAKTOR ERGONOMI PADA PEKERJA DODOL DI UD. BATU IWAK

Abstract

1. Batu Iwak is one of the MSMEs that produces seaweed dodol located in Ngeru Village, Moyo Hilir District, Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. UD. Batu Iwak was founded on March 21, 2004. UD. Batu Iwak produces and distributes its products to several regions in Indonesia, such as Surabaya, Mataram, Bima, Sumbawa and its surroundings.In its production, the work of cutting dodol at UD. Batu Iwak still uses traditional methods with simple tools. Workers who bend over, causing work-related illnesses and reducing worker productivity as well as the emergence of musculoskeletal disorders. The purpose of this research is to find out the strategy for improving work-related pain from work posture, complaints of pain in dodol cutting workers at UMKM batu iwak using REBA, NBM, and FTA methods. The results of REBA were found in the three workers who were at risk of getting sick with a score above 6-8, which means immediate improvement is needed. The results of NBM for the first worker were 60, the second worker was 56, and the third worker was 51. NBM measurements with FTA found that the causes of workers experiencing work-related illness were low filtering equipment from view, tools used did not match body dimensions, workers sat while cutting for a long time , activities are repeated. The proposed improvement from the results of the FTA is to design a more ergonomic tofu filter tool.
