Abstract

This research is a historical research (History Research) with historical methods starting from the Heuristic, Criticism, Interpretation, and Historiography stages with a Qualitative Descriptive approach. This study aims to determine the history of the arrival of HMI to Sumbawa district and the leadership periodization of the Sumbawa Branch of HMI from 2001-2023. The data analysis technique in this study is to place more emphasis on the interview process which was conducted during the field study. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the arrival of HMI to Sumbawa district was one way to spread HMI in every area in Indonesia. The role and existence of the Sumbawa Branch HMI has been established for 14 years since 2001 until now.
