Brucellosis is an infectious disease in beef cattle that causes miscarriage due to infection with the Brucella abortus bacteria. This disease has spread throughout Indonesia with a fairly high prevalence of cases. Even though Sumbawa Island has been declared free of Brucellosis, the increase in trade traffic and the spread of beef cattle commodities will open up opportunities for the entry and spread of this disease, making it a threat. This research aims to detect Brucellosis in beef cattle originating from various areas on Sumbawa Island and quarantined at Stasiun Karantina Pertanian Kelas I Sumbawa Besar. To determine the presence of Brucella antibodies in blood serum, 27 samples were tested using the Rose Bengal Test (RBT) method. Observations and interpretations are carried out based on the applicable gold standard. The results of the study showed that all blood serum samples had negative results so beef cattle on Sumbawa Island were not infected with Brucellosis.
