Abstract

This research was conducted on the basis of problems in mental health. This study aims to determine the impact of self-diagnosis behavior carried out via the internet, as a form of development of information seeking in the era of Society 5.0. The method used in this research is qualitative. The characteristics of the subject are generation Z, aged around 13-20 years. With a population of people who live in Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara. Subject determination was carried out by purposive sampling. Several methods of data collection were used in this study such as documentation, sources, places and objects, pictures and recordings. The results of this study indicate that the self diagnosis behavior is based on the Skinner SOR (Stimulus-Organism-Response) theory. Stimulus as a result of self-diagnosis, Organisms as both subjects and Response as a feeling of confidence in the results of self-diagnosis. Other results are aspects of the causes, methods, and effects of this research achieved.
