STRATEGI OPTIMALISASI PENGELOAAN ASET PADA PERGURUAN TINGGI SWASTA DI KABUPATEN SUMBAWA

Abstract

Assets are a very important element for the continued development of a university. The
availability of adequate assets in an agency or organization is very important, and the benefits of these
assets must be accompanied by good management and according to procedures. This study aims to
analyze asset management optimization strategies at private universities in Sumbawa Regency. This
research uses a mixed method, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews and
questioners, and data analysis using QSPM analysis to determine strategies in SWOT analysis and
dynamic system models. The results showed that the SWOT analysis assessed the Internal Strategic
Factor Analysis Summary (IFAS) value of 2.052 and the External Strategic Factor Analysis Summary
(EFAS) value of 2.026. Both of these categories are included in the medium scale. The results of the
SWOT analysis of the IFAS and EFAS matrices place the research in quadrant V, indicating that the
strategy needed in optimizing asset management is "hold and maintain." In addition, the results of
QSPM testing show that the highest Total Attractiveness Score (TAS) value is 2.96. This indicates that
the right strategy to improve the optimization of asset management is to increase the management
role of asset management, maintenance, and use. In addition, asset marketing needs to be packaged
attractively and dynamically so that potential users are interested in renting or using the assets owned
by the college.The results of the dynamic system model show that revenue from the college's
productive assets is expected to increase from 2024 to 2034. The total revenue in that period is
estimated to reach Rp. 482,375,000 to Rp. 5,779,687,578. Therefore, it is concluded that if asset
management is carried out optimally, the potential profit from UTS productive assets can increase
significantly from year to year.
