Abstract

The village is the smallest territorial unit in the government of the Indonesian state. The existence of a
village is expected to be the spearhead of the country in developing the country's economy
independently, village development has been carried out for a long time but there are still many
problems that have not been thoroughly resolved. There are many factors that cause the programs that
have been provided by the central government to be less than optimal. The form of economic institution
provided by the government to villages is village-owned enterprises (BUMDes). BUMDes is a business
entity that is wholly or largely owned by the Village through direct participation sourced from separate
Village assets so that it can manage assets, services and other businesses for the welfare of the people
in the Village. This study aims to determine the development strategy for Village Owned Enterprises
(BUMDes) in the Village of Penyaring, North Moyo District, Sumbawa Regency. The type of research
used is descriptive qualitative. The data sources used in this study are primary data sources andsecondary data sources with a total of 5 informants. Data collection techniques using observation,
interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data
presentation, and conclusion. The validation of the data used is source triangulation and time
triangulation. The results of the research conducted show that 1) The organizational strategy carried
out is seen from the relationship between the programs being carried out and POAC management and
seeing the vision and mission of BUMDes that have met all the criteria in the vision and mission. 2)
Strategy to support resources, namely facilities and infrastructure, natural resources, human resources
and financial resources. 3) The Programming Strategy has been fulfilled from three dimensions, namely
short-term programming, medium-term programming and long-term programming. It can be said that
the management of the Tanjung Mening BUMDes is good, but there needs to be further improvement
so that the community can feel the benefits.
