Abstract

This study aims to develop academic supervision based on information and
communication technology in improving the quality of learning in SMKN 1 Taliwang.
The type of research used is development research with the aim of formulating
methodological suggestions for the design and evaluation of product prototypes as
web-based tools. The stages carried out consist of the preliminary study stage, the
development stage and the evaluation stage. Data collection techniques with
interviews, questionnaires and observation. The data analysis technique used is to test
the validity of the data by using source triangulation. The development stage involves
experts and practitioners who are refined by conducting FGDs. Evaluation phase with
limited trial using one group pretest-posttest design to determine the effectiveness of
the model and statistical test using Wilcoxon test. The results showed that academic
supervision based on information and communication technology can effectively
improve the quality of learning in SMA/SMK. The results obtained from experts and
practitioners with an average score of 63.33 from a maximum score of 70 with an
achievement of 90.48% predicated very well and the test results showed an effective
model with 49.44% strongly agreeing, 50.56% agreeing and feasible in a limited trial of
principals and teachers using the model with a score of 68.10% before using the model
and 87.84% after using the model.
