ANALISIS EFEKTIVITAS INOVASI SISTEM INFORMASI ABSENSI BERBASIS ANDROID TERHADAP TINGKAT KEHADIRAN SISWA DI SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN NEGERI 2 SUMBAWA BESAR

Abstract

Attendance at school is a crucial aspect of managing student attendance. Effective and efficient attendance data collection provides great benefits for schools in managing student attendance, monitoring the regularity of teaching and learning activities, and ensuring student compliance with school policies. Can find out to what extent the effectiveness of using the application in increasing student attendance and the advantages and disadvantages of the application can be developed further. This research uses a combined research approach (mix method). The quantitative method will be carried out with an average score, the sample in this study is 91 respondents and the collection method is based on purposive sampling, data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, in-depth interviews. The importance of this research is that it can facilitate the student attendance process quickly and easily, improve student discipline with this system, it will reduce the possibility of students not coming to school, and increase the efficiency of teaching staff to focus more on the learning process and improve the quality of education at SMK Negeri 2 Sumbawa. Big. The results of measuring effectiveness based on innovation implementation indicators show (a) level of ease (easer) score 445 – very effective (b) better (better) score 436 – very effective faster and more precise (faster) score 369 – effective cheaper (cheaper ) score 395 – effective, safer (safety) score 383 – effective. It can be concluded that the implementation of an Android-based attendance application at SMK Negeri 2 Sumbawa Besar really makes it easier and faster for students to take attendance. The implementation of an Android-based attendance application at SMK Negeri 2 Sumbawa Besar makes it easier for teachers to take student attendance and in real time can record student attendance every month because it is directly saved to the database. This application also makes it easier for parents to control their children's attendance because the application will automatically send attendance information to the parents' WhatsApp number.
