Abstract

This research discusses the influence of the use of information and communication technology innovations based on the Merdeka Mengajar platform on the performance elementary school teachers in Moyo Hilir District. The aims of this research are 1) to analyze the level of utilization of ICT innovations based on the independent teaching platform; 2) analyze the use of ICT innovation based on the independent teaching platform in influencing teacher performance in implementing the independent curriculum for elementary school teachers in Moyo Hilir District. This type of research study is associative, to see the correlation of two or more variables. The population and sample in this research were 44 grade 1 and 4 elementary school teachers in Moyo Hilir District who had implemented the independent curriculum. The sampling technique is nonprobability sampling. Data collection methods are questionnaire and documentation methods. Data were analyzed using a 5 Likert scale and processed using the SmartPLS 4.0 application. The research results found that 1) the level of PMM utilization by respondent teachers was in the "frequent" category with a percentage of 48.97%, 2) The use of PMM by teachers had an effect on improving teacher performance. It is proven that: a) intensity in the use of PMM has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance efficiency (p-value 0.039); and influence teacher work initiative (p-value 0.007); b) ease of understanding and accessing PMM has a positive and significant effect on increasing teacher work efficiency (p-value 0.002), increasing teacher work discipline (p-value 0.000) and teacher work initiative (p-value 0.001); c) speed of accessing PMM has a positive and significant effect on increasing teacher work efficiency (p-value 0.041) and increasing teacher work discipline (p-value 0.002); d) teacher work efficiency has a positive and significant effect on improving the quality of teacher work (p-value 0.000); e) teacher work discipline has a positive and significant effect on improving the quality of teacher work (p-value 0.001); f) ease and speed in using PMM have an indirect effect on improving the quality of teacher work (p-value 0.010). Thus, it can be concluded that the use of PMM-based ICT innovation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of grade I and IV elementary school teachers in Moyo Hilir District.
