Abstract

  1. Maras Beton is a company engaged in the field of lightweight concrete construction that produces paving blocks located on Samota-Labuan Road, Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. CV Maras Beton produces 6000 paving blocks a day using human labor manually and repeatedly to move wet paving blocks that have been printed by the printing machine to be moved to the drying area. The research was conducted using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method which is a method for evaluating work posture in workers and is used to assess work positions in workers. Based on the results of research that has been carried out using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method, it shows that the score of 8 which is included in action level 4, namely risk (high), requires immediate action changes. After designing an ergonomic wet paving block transfer tool, a work posture assessment is carried out, a score of 1 is obtained, which is said to be a negligible risk level, which means that no improvement or good worker position is needed. Therefore, this shows that wet paving block removal aids are needed because workers can avoid the risk of occupational illness.
