The pattern of communication is a system that is used and in accordance with communication needs. Patterns can be interpreted as a form of communication process. This study describes the communication patterns of veiled female students in interacting within the Sumbawa University of Technology environment. The purpose of this study was to find out how the communication patterns of veiled female students interact in the Sumbawa University of Technology environment. This study presents a problem, namely how the communication patterns of veiled female students at the University of Technology, Sumbawa. The problems in this study will be answered using descriptive qualitative methods. The data sources in this study were observations, interviews, and documentation with veiled female students at the University of Technology, Sumbawa. This study uses the theory of symbolic interaction. Where symbolic interaction is related to gestures, facial expressions, sound or vocals is the "symbol" referred to. The results of this study are the communication patterns applied by veiled female students at the Sumbawa University of Technology. The patterns are patterns of interpersonal communication, transactional and interactional communication patterns. Forms of communication patterns can be verbal and non-verbal. For veiled students, verbal communication such as greeting with friends on campus, while non-verbal forms such as shaking hands with female friends.
