Sumbawa, there are still many people who do not know about the existence of PLN Mobile and there are also those who do not know how to apply PLN Mobile, due to the lack of socialization by PLN PT. PLN (Persero) in the Sumbawa Region. The need for a socialization and promotion from the PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Sumbawa to get closer to the community so that people know about the existence of the PLN Mobile application. Because being able to promote an application, namely PLN Mobile, is not easy because people's mindsets are already driven by other applications such as internet banking, SMS banking, ATMs and others. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The reason for the researcher taking a qualitative approach is to analyze the Strategy of the Sumbawa Regency State Electricity Company (PLN) in Improving Prepaid Electricity Services Based on the PLN Mobile Application in 2021, by seeking information at the research location. The type of research used by researchers is a qualitative descriptive type that studies existing problems and work procedures that apply. Qualitative descriptive research aims to obtain information about the existing conditions. So, researchers will collect data from informants (PLN counters, security, electricians, communities, etc.) Regarding the Strategy of the State Electricity Company (PLN) for Sumbawa Regency in Improving Prepaid Electricity Services Based on the PLN Mobile Application in 2021. In this case, PLN needs community participation, for example, when there is an electric short circuit in a customer's house or a customer's neighbor's house, by With the PLN Mobile application, customers can report directly to PLN, so they can minimize accidents or fires due to electrical short circuits. From the research results, the authors conclude that the PLN Mobile application is quite good and very useful for customers of PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Sumbawa to meet electricity needs, complaints and complaints. However, socialization that has not been evenly distributed has resulted in PT. PLN (Persero) Rayon Sumbawa who have not used the PLN Mobile application. The lack of public knowledge about PLN Mobile has resulted in people not using the PLN Mobile Application.
