Abstract

The Sumbawa Women's Solidarity Community is a community engaged in the protection of Women Migrant Workers from Sumbawa. Assisting and strengthening education for women. This is the reason for researchers to examine the role of the Sumbawa Women's Solidarity Community in protecting Women Migrant Workers from Sumbawa in 2021. This research uses role and performance theory as an analytical tool to determine the role of the Sumbawa Women's Solidarity Community in protecting Women Migrant Workers from Sumbawa. The research method used is qualitative research. The data is sourced from interviews with the Chairperson and members of the Community as primary data as well as notes, documentation, archives about the Sumbawa Women's Solidarity Community as secondary data. With data collection techniques using observation, interview and documentation methods.  The role of the Sumbawa Women's Solidarity Community in protecting Women Migrant Workers from Sumbawa is very well done. All efforts are made by the Sumbawa Women's Solidarity Community so that its role can be maximized to protect Women Migrant Workers from Sumbawa. Factors inhibiting the role of the Sumbawa Women's Solidarity Community in protecting Women Migrant Workers from Sumbawa are influenced by the quality that has not been maximized, the quantity of work staff is minimal, there is no vulnerability to case assistance time and is not effective in solving cases due to unfavorable situations and conditions.
