THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING AND ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT IN MEMBERS OF THE SUMBAWA BRANCH OF THE ISLAMIC STUDENT ASSOCIATION
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between psychological well-being and organizational commitment to members of the Sumbawa Branch of the Islamic Student Association. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of research that is correlational. The sampling technique used a random technique based on area (cluster random sampling) of 69 samples. The research instrument consisted of two scales, namely the psychological well-being scale and the organizational commitment scale. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between psychological well-being and organizational commitment in members of the Sumbawa Branch Islamic Student Association with a correlation coefficient of 0.432 with a sig. (pcount) = 0.001 or p<0.05 which means unidirectional so that if the psychological well-being of the members of the Sumbawa Branch Islamic Student Association is high then the organizational commitment is also high otherwise if the psychological well-being of members of the Sumbawa Branch Islamic Student Association is low then the organizational commitment also low.
