ANALISIS MISE EN SCENE FILM DOKUMENTER BARAPAN KEBO : TRADISI MASYARAKAT SUMBAWA

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the elements of mise en scene in the documentary film "Barapan Kebo:
Traditions of the Sumbawa People". This film was directed by Anton Susilo and has been uploaded on
YouTube. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the method of analyzing film content
and describing the mise en scene elements contained in the film.The results of the study show that the
documentary film "Barapan Kebo: Traditions of the Sumbawa People" has a complete mise en scene
element and fulfills the elements in the formation of cinematic elements in the documentary film. This
film is able to convey messages and traditional values well.
