PERAN KOMITE NASIONAL PEMUDA INDONESIA TERHADAP PENGEMBANGAN ORGANISASI KEPEMUDAAN DI KABUPATEN SUMBAWA

Abstract

Youth has great potential as agents of change in the development and progress of a country. Therefore, the Indonesian government formed the Indonesian Youth National Committee (KNPI) as a forum to foster, coordinate, and develop youth organizations throughout Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to find out the role of the Sumbawa Regency Indonesian Youth National Committee in the process of developing the Youth Organization in 2022. This research method uses qualitative data and is carried out thoroughly on an object, with the researcher as the main instrument. The results of qualitative research are then explained in the form of words obtained through valid data. This study found that KNPI has a role as a partner in building a strong and efficient youth organizational structure through budget support, relations with the government and other institutions, and providing direction and input to OKP. The formation of the youth organizational structure is the responsibility of each OKP based on their own AD/ART, but KNPI can collaborate with OKP to encourage the progress and active participation of youth in the Sumbawa Regency.
