Abstract

The National Narcotics Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BNN RI) in the period from 2021 to mid-2022 has succeeded in uncovering 55,392 cases of drug crimes and 71,994 suspects, with drug evidence in the form of 42.71 tons of methamphetamine; 71.33 tons of cannabis; 1,630,102.69 Ecstasy Pills; and 186.4 Kg of Cocaine. (National Narcotics Agency of the Republic of Indonesia, 2022). This study aims to determine the effect of parental supervision and village government supervision on the increasing number of narcotics use in the village of Mangge Asi, Dompu sub-district, Dompu district, NTB. This research is a research using quantitative research methods. It is called quantitative because the data collected in this study can be analyzed using statistical analysis to determine the effect of parental supervision and village government supervision on the increasing number of narcotics use in the village of Mangge Asi, Dompu sub-district, Dompu district, NTB. The results of this study using statistical analysis with SPSS obtained the results based on the t test obtained significantly variable X1 of 0.574 > 0.005 and t count 0.566<1.676  and X2 of 0.544> 0.05 and t count value of 0.611 <1.676. From these results, the alternative hypothesis is rejected. This shows that there is no effect of the two variables x on variable Y.
