The regional head election is a political recruitment to lead a region. The election of a regional head candidate is inseparable from how to convince the public to participate in choosing him. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Mo-Novi pair's political message on people's political participation in winning the 2020 regional election in Sumbawa Regency which took place in Sekokok Hamlet, Jorok Village, Utan District, Sumbawa Regency. This type of research uses a quantitative descriptive method. The number of samples in this study was 85 respondents, the sampling technique in this study used a random sampling technique. The selected data collection technique is by questionnaire (questionnaire), interviews, observation, and literature study. The data analysis technique uses a simple linear regression analysis technique, SPSS software. The results showed that (1) the political message variable (X) had a positive and significant effect on the political participation variable (Y). Based on the results of the F test of 55.231 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. So that it can be significant that the influence of the political message of the Mo-Novi pair has an effect and is significant on the political participation of the people of Sekokok Hamlet, Jorok Village, Utan District, amounting to 55,231. (2) From the results of the model summary test, it is obtained that the degree of influence of the political voting variable (X) on political participation (Y) is (R-squared) 61.8%, while the remaining 38.2% is influenced by other variables that were not investigated. in this research. Based on this, it can be interpreted that the influence of the Mo-Novi couple's political messages on the political participation of the people of Sekokok, Jorok Village, Utan District was 61.8%.
