LEADERSHIP STYLE OF CHAIRMAN OF COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT INSTITUTION (LPM) IN REALIZING VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT IN LABUHAN SUMBAWA VILLAGE IN 2021
Abstract
ABSTRACT
The leadership of the chairman of the Community Empowerment Institute determines the direction and goals of the development of the village itself. Development in a village must involve the community and other government officials. The Chairperson of the Community Empowerment Institute for the Labuhan Sumbawa Village has been elected for two years as the head of the community empowerment institution, therefore, researchers are very interested in conducting research in the Labuhan Sumbawa Village. With the aim that the researcher hopes that the leadership style of the Chairperson of the Community Empowerment Institute in realizing village development in the Labuhan village of Sumbawa is the inhibiting factor for community empowerment institutions in realizing villages in the Labuhan village of Sumbawa. This study uses descriptive qualitative research, namely describing the data as it is and explaining data or events with explanatory sentences qualitatively. In this study it was found that Kaharuddin MF's Leadership Style as chairman of the community empowerment institution in the Labuhan Sumbawa village is fundamentally democracy. However, Kaharuddin MF developed this democracy so that it was enveloped in religious, customary and family nuances. For example, with advice, use simple language in communication, namely, regional languages, and always prioritize deliberation in every decision-making. Apart from that, he has always been a role model because the emotion that is built is kinship, and Kaharuddin MF has the role of being a mediating figure in every implementation of development in the harbor village of Sumbawa.
